Unfortunately, I found this site moments too late. I had cervical cancer in the past, so when they offered these shots for my daughter I thought it was a God-send. Signed her up right away to have them in hopes of preventing cervical cancer. I didn’t even know there was a problem with these shots and blindly let her get them. My sister and I were emailing back and forth and I mentioned she was getting her shot. My husband just took her today for the 3rd and final shot. When my sister told me to research this because there have been a lot of reported problems, I was shocked. As soon as I finished reading this site, I tried to contact them BEFORE she got the 3rd injection. They just finished giving her the shot when I got a hold of them. Now I am just so mad at myself for not knowing any of this before putting her through this. She has also had increased problems with her period since having the other shots. Her last one kept her in bed. She has also had issues with her stomach and not being able to eat. I feel like such an idiot for not connecting the dots. She definitely would not have had the 3rd shot if I had gotten to this site only moments sooner. So many people on my Mom’s side of the family have passed away from cancer that when they presented this to me, I agreed without even researching it. To think that I gave permission for her to have this and it has caused these symptoms makes me sick. Please keep my daughter in your thoughts and prayers.

Mary, I assume you read the info about my daughter’s reaction (Stefanie Wade). She suffered a very similar reaction to yours, although her reaction started after her first shot and worsened after her second shot. We know of many, many girls who have suffered from acid reflux, nausea, vomiting and weight loss. It seems to me that the amount of time it takes for a reaction varies from one girl to the next. Stefanie’s reaction started 30 days after her first shot but I have read about girls who had no reaction until after their second or third shots. It seems that the reaction time varies in different girls’ systems, but the symptoms are so similar (almost identical) that it must be a reaction to Gardasil. I hope that you recover soon. None of the medications helped Stefanie; we had to wait until whatever it was “ran its course”. In her case, the reaction lasted 9 weeks — 3 weeks after the first shot and 6 weeks after the second shot (unfortunately, we did not suspect Gardasil until after she had gotten the second shot). She did find that Pepcid Complete worked better on the acid reflux than Prevacid. Other than that, she ultimately stopped taking all medications bc they were doing NOTHING for her. Now she continues to have problems with her menstrual periods, but other than that she seems to be back to normal. We just hope that she does not have any future complications.

Update to original post: Unfortunately, Stefanie continues to have problems whenever she is getting ready to menstruate: severe cramping and nausea which incapacitate her for 2-3 days each month. Frequently, she takes birth control pills continuously so she doesn’t have a period. Otherwise, she loses a couple of days of college classes and work each month. This is as of August 2008, almost a year after she received the second Gardasil shot. I have written a follow-up letter to Merck, asking for their responses to my original questions, and also inquiring how long each dose of Gardasil remains in the patients’ systems. If I ever get an answer from Merck, I will share with all of you! Meanwhile, I will pray that each one of you recovers fully from this nightmare.

This article explains so much. My daughter had a very similar experience. We took her to several places and no one could tell us what was wrong. Soooo frustrating to watch your child suffer. A doctor told us she was probably faking it to get out of school. She is a straight A student and LOVES school. Nothing was adding up until I read this article. She has not had these issues for some months now so we hope it ran whatever course it had and will be long forgotten soon! She only had one shot and the problems she had were devastating. I can only imagine if we had her get the rest.

I had the 3rd shot in March 2008 with very few side effects, however, June 17 I started with nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and acid reflux. I have been in the ER 5 times in the past 7 weeks with dehydration and servere stomach pain from vomiting. I have absolutely no appetite.

Has anyone else had these symptoms 2 months after receiving the last shot? I have had every test and so much blood work and everything comes back negative. I am starting to wonder if there is a connection to Gardisal.

I posted a comment because since december i have been having these exact troubles. reading this story is like reading mine to a T. my last vaccine 2/3 was on sept 21st 07/. i cant even believe how horrible this vaccine is now that i know what it is putting girls through. no doctor has been able to figure it out for me and i have been in and out of the hospital and Er more times than i can count. they removed my gallbladder hoping that would be the cause and it wasnt. i have had all those tests the stefanie has and all of them normal. i have been on all those listed medications above and NUMEROUS more and still no relief. the only thing that has seem to help is morphine because it hides the pain which seems to keep me from vomiting. so iam on a prescription of morphine for who knows how long till they decide this must be it. iam a college student as well and i cant explain how much of a set back this has caused me and i am so happy to know iam not alone on that. time to find a doctor who will actually listen when i say i think it has soemthing to do with the shot. I will obviously not be getting the third one!

Fighting Phamaceutical companies is not easy. They have power and money. Women, family and friends all need to stand together, united and kick some pharmaceutical butt! We, as women should not tolerating this harmful vaccine. Our children should not take it nor should they be forced to take it {Texas}. There are more women then men on earth. There is important background info in “Fatal Probe”, a little book written a few years ago by Will Locksley that can be found on Amazon. He seems to have been out there warning women about this for years.

The primary focus of the book is to uncover facts concerning the cross-infection of women during their visits to the offices of their medical providers. However, there is relevant, previously undisclosed information that challenges the efficacy of the Gardacil tests.

btw: It seems there is also concern regarding the fact that the Merck-sponsored testing did not use true saline injections in most of their control groups. They were ‘laced’ with aluminum, which totally confuses the results.

Be patient, in that they seem to not be able to keep them in stock.

My story is very similar too. im 15 and have had a lot of problems since recieving my shot on June 16th, 2007. I have had serious shaking (tremors), severe headaches, my vision “blacking out”, getting dizzy easily, the worst mouth sores you have ever saw, joint pain and swelling, and i also had my appendix removed and have heard Gardasil could have caused that. I have always been a healthy active girl and now i cant even play my usual sports because of all of these problems. Im desperate to get my normal life back! I would like to know if anyone else has these problems…Does being detoxed work? I appreciate any of the feed back and wish you all luck with your problems. God bless you all
